interlift 2025 – Leading Global Elevator Fair Opens New Chapter in Nuremberg

Since its inception in 1991, interlift has grown into one of the most important global meeting points for the elevator industry. Welcoming around 19,000 visitors from more than 110 countries, the event continues to expand its reach and influence. Following the success of its last edition in Augsburg, which hosted 500 exhibitors, interlift will open its doors in a new venue — Nuremberg — from October 14–17, 2025.

More than Numbers: Building Real Connections
The strength of interlift lies not only in its scale but in the opportunities it creates for direct dialogue, meaningful networking, and industry collaboration. As Massimiliano Petrolli, Marketing Manager at Meiller, notes, “In an increasingly digital world, face-to-face communication remains essential — particularly in an industry where products require detailed explanation.”

Where Conversations Shape the Future
Federica Codalli, Marketing Manager at Wittur Group, highlights the value of informal exchanges: “Some of the most impactful collaborations begin in casual conversations. interlift is more than a showcase — it’s where the future of the industry takes shape.”

Driving Smart Infrastructure and Industry Growth
The event’s main sponsor, VFA Interlift e.V., represents small and medium-sized elevator and component manufacturers. Association President Achim Hütter emphasizes that global trends such as urbanization, accessibility, and energy efficiency continue to drive strong demand. “Despite global challenges, our industry remains a cornerstone of the construction sector and smart infrastructure development,” he says.

Why Nuremberg? Modern Facilities and Global Access
Association Vice President Michael Gubisch explains that the move to Nuremberg offers modern infrastructure, better accommodation, and enhanced international accessibility. The expanded exhibition space will host interlift 2025 across Halls 1, 3, 3A, 3C, 4, and 4A at Nürnberg Messe, with entrances at Eingang Mitte (for public transport) and Eingang Ost (for individual visitors).

Strong Interest Ahead of the Event
According to Project Manager Michael Löffler, more than 50 companies have already visited Nuremberg to explore the new venue. Recent visitor surveys show:

  • 84% are purchasing and procurement specialists

  • 71% from Europe, 16% from Asia/Australia, 9% from the Americas, 3% from Africa
